Senior drop-in

Senior drop-in sessions are open to all young people aged 11 – 16 years on ever Tuesday night from 5pm – 8pm with the exception of School Holidays where the provision may vary.

Within the drop-in sessions we offer a wide range of activities such as life skills and cooking, arts and crafts, recreation, music, outdoor and indoor sports, archery and lots more, also running award schemes such as DofE, Duke of Edinburgh awards and JMA, John Muir Award.

Targeted, preventative work on sessions includes; early intervention, for those at risk, peer pressure, substance misuse, inclusion, sexual health and wellbeing. Our aim is to divert and work with positive role models to improve outcomes.

We focus on social interaction, making new friendships, conference building by allowing the young people to develop new skills and offer support within a safe and friendly environment. We provide avenues for achievement and opportunities to volunteer to enhance their future prospects.
